Notice - this website will close on 31st October 2010 due to the ending of the 'Community Website' contract between BT and Recipero. I hope to create a new website during August 2010 - but the web address will be different. When the address details are known they will be displayed here until this site closes. If you have been intending to send an email to someone who has posted on the guestbook, do not delay as this will disappear along with the rest of the site.
At the moment, there are no sources shown for the information. This will be rectified later, when all the pages are complete. Local historian Jim O'Neil will be credited for all the information he has made publicly available over the years and which I have used on various sections of this site.
